Les Thermes in Strassen is a spectacular waterpark that really makes for an excellent afternoon or evening, away from all the stress. It's one of the best places to chill out after a long day at work and disconnected from the outside world, literally. Reminiscent of an object from outter space with its large metallic hull, the whole park really makes you feel that you entered a different world of pampering and relaxation which is accentuated by its lush interior and the warm colours in combination with the wooden ceiling. While the waterpark has excellent pools and many other features, slides and a wave pool, what really makes the complex stand out but in our opinion it is the excellent spa area that has numerous saunas, dry and wet or Finnish sauna besides the Aufguss that makes the visit worth your time. The Winter garden is of course also a great experience and there are few things that are as much fun as swimming around in the outdoor pool when it is snowing or the sun is setting in the evening. It attracted half a million visitors in the first year and has been extremely popular ever since.. Good to know
